  1. Does Yvault offer an automated Backup feature?

    Yes. Yavult allows you to automate the backup of selected files and folders using a backup feature that comes bundled with the Yvault Client. Backups can be automated to your schedule to ensure that all of your important files are securely stored on our servers so you can easily retrieve them in the event of a disaster or system failure.

  2. Why do you need my credit card?

    When you sign up for a Yvault account, we require that you enter a credit card to complete the registration process. Your membership will be automatically renewed so you can continue to take advantage of the Yvault's service without interruption. If you choose to cancel your Yvault account, you can easily do so at any time.

  3. Does Yvault offer any other method of payment?

    Yes. For those those customers that pass our verification process, and choose to pay by check, can do so. As with credit card billing, you have the option to susbcribe annually or monthly.

    If you choose the annual option, we will give you 20% off the total monthly fee - that's MORE than 2 months FREE!

    Yvault is an AES 256-bit encrypted, and HIPAA compliant, making it one of the most secure online storage services on the market today. Our network infrastructure is both robust and secure. Redundant routers, switches, hardware, and backup systems are employed to ensure high availability of the Yvault service.

    • Disk Space : 100 Mbytes
    • Network Protocol : TCP/IP (Http/Https)
    • Additional Requirement:
      • Windows 95 - Please download and install Windows Socket 2 Update for Windows 95 (w95ws2setup.exe)
      • Windows NT / 2000 / XP / 2003 - Please make sure you have logged onto Windows using an account with administrative privileges
    2. Linux

    System Requirements:
    • Operating System : Linux Kernel 2.2 or above (e.g. Redhat 6.0 or above)
    • Memory : 128 Mbytes
    • Disk Space : 100 Mbytes
    • Network Protocol : TCP/IP (Http/Https)
    • Additional Requirement:
      • The Standard C++ libraries for backwards compatibility compiler (compat-libstdc++-x.x-y.y.y.y.i386.rpm) are required to run Online Backup Manager correctly. If it is not installed already, please download and install this library from your Linux vendor.
